first station, circa 1903
Northfield Station, Ontario
Mile 80.59
Opened: 1900
Closed: 1957
Trackage: passing siding in front of the station

second station
Station exists as a shed just a few metres from original location, but as of 2024 the building has caved in on itself.
Note: The O&NY quarry was south of this point, the original spur into the quarry was just south of the hamlet’s grade crossing. When the original quarry was abandoned a new one was just west of it. Years later both sites were abandoned for a larger quarry approximately at the mid-point between Northfield Station and Harrison with a new spur.
Photographs: B&W from the same book as the Black River station; coloured is my collection.
