Opened: 1854 – Sussex Street (used by O&NY 1898-1899); 1899 – St. Patrick Street Bridge (used by O&NY 1899); 1896 – Central/Union Station (used by O&NY 1899-1941); 1941 – Mann Avenue Station (shared space in the company’s freight building)

Closed: 1957 (NYC station on Mann Avenue)

Facilities: coal, water, turntable, 5 stall engine house, oil

Trackage: good sized yard with several stub ended sidings/spurs

Connections: Canadian Pacific Railway; Canadian Northern Ontario Railway (Canadian Northern Ry/Canadian National Ry)

When the O&NY began to operate into Ottawa, they first used CPR’s Sussex Street station; the station stop was then moved to a freight building along the CPR’s Sussex Street line at St. Patrick Street Bridge; O&NY then received permission to use Central Station (which would be replaced and renamed to Union Station); in 1941, O&NY/NYC moved out of Union to their freight building on Mann Avenue to use as a station.
